| Job Description | Our client, one of the big 4 Consultancy firms based in the City are recruiting for a Licensing Manager to work within their IPC&G division.
• As the engagement manager, you will plan and lead multiple teams of 1-3 people to execute software license compliance reviews, collecting, validating and reporting software deployment and usage from a range of end user customers.
• Using project management skills you will monitor and drive the teams progress on your projects
• Analysis and interpretation of contracts, software entitlement data and researching solutions to technical challenges and contractual ambiguities
• Reviewing the teams work throughout the project to ensure the highest quality deliverables with responsibility for the quality of the client deliverable
• Reporting to senior managers, you will communicate and explain the content of the deliverables to stakeholders
• Developing relationships with client personnel and working with them to deliver a project or portfolio of projects
• Some travel to client and customer sites is required (typically 20% of your time). There may be some overseas travel
Qualifications and Skills
• Have obtained a minimum 2.1 degree or relevant qualification
• Possess knowledge of common licensing models for major software vendors (e.g. IBM, Microsoft, Adobe, Oracle or SAP)
Successful candidates will:
• Have at least 3 years experience in a related field (eg IT audit/ IT operations) Demonstrate a numerate, analytical and investigative/ audit mind-set
• Have strong Microsoft Excel skills and ideally Access/SQL
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Able to review working papers and write reports
• Be a proven project manager capable of managing multiple competing priorities
• Have experience of leading and managing teams
• Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and a focus on delivering high quality work
• Be commercially aware and a highly motivated team player in a dynamic environment
