Virtualisation Business Development Manager


Responsibilities:
 Increasing VMware and Citrix revenues and GP by working with the Vendors, Sales/Account Managers and Vendor Relationship Manager. 
 Having responsibility for the company’s VMware and Citrix pipeline, reviewing and sharing this with the Vendors and Distributor, and spotting any cross/up-sell opportunities. 
 Education of the sales team helping them to analyse customer’s current and future software needs.
 To be fully educated and accredited across the VMware and Citrix portfolios and acting as a specialist point of knowledge and sales resource for all the sales teams


Individual Tasks:
 Review and sharing of VMware and Citrix pipeline with Vendors
 Spotting cross/up sell opportunities and educating sales teams accordingly
 Sales team engagement and account mapping
 Regular regional office visits to account map/educate
 Accompanying Account Managers to customer meetings
 Regular, weekly meetings with Vendor Relationship Manager and Marketing contact
 Regular, scheduled update and planning meetings with Vendor Partner Account Managers
 Attendance at off-site briefings/education sessions
 Business planning/marketing involvement when required
 Regular days at VMware and Citrix networking/meeting with end user Account Managers


Skills and Qualifications:
 Previous experience in the LAR or VAR Channel
 In-depth virtualisation knowledge
 Knowledge of Enterprise level sales
 Experience of producing tender documentation
 Comfortable in a pre and post sales environment


Package:


Basic to £30K OTE £60K
