What makes us different?

Our team has combined experience of over 22 years of recruiting into the Channel. We know our industry inside out and unlike many of our competitors, do not try to be a “Jack-of-all-trades”! In recruitment you are only as good as your last placement – In a recent campaign (2009) MerlinCorp were engaged to fill twelve positions, the client decided that 90% of the candidates seen were suitable enough to be offered straight away, therefore reducing Managers time interviewing the “wrong” type of candidate.

In a massive push to reduce churn, MerlinCorp were engaged to recruit 100 new sales staff over a period of one year, whilst falling short of the target by four, MerlinCorp were able to reduce that attrition to 16% and four of the new sales staff were in the top six achievers at the Annual 100% club.

We are so confident in our ability to match client requirements to a tee that we are willing to put our money where our mouth is and offer a “no upfront fee” system whereby we charge a fee based on a percentage of their generated GP over the course of their first year of employment as opposed to a traditional fee based on a percentage of the annual salary. We are fortunate to be in the enviable position of candidates engaging us through recommendation of our services. As we only recruit for certain roles within certain sectors, we understand our industry inside and out and strive to know exactly what our clients look for in a candidate. What this means for you as a candidate is that we will not waste any time discussing vacancies with clients that are not right for the individual. Instead, we take time to understand your “wish list” and ensure that we match this as closely as possible to the vacancies we have and the clients we work with. Unlike many of our competitors, we do not send your CV to all and sundry in the hope that a client may “bite” – we discuss all roles and clients with you before sending your CV anywhere.
