- Summary
The Software Asset Management Solutions Sales Specialist (SAM SSS) is responsible for achieving sales and margin goals by developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with customers and partners. The SAM SSS is responsible for engaging with our business development representatives to generate new software asset management (SAM) business.
Roles & Responsibilities:
· Works collaboratively with sales teams, including Business Development Managers (BDM) and Inside Sales Executive (ISE) to develop an overall territory and account plan to maximize opportunities and generate SAM business with new and existing customers.
· Achieves and exceeds sales targets and gross profit quota by prospecting new and existing customers and selling through Business Development Managers and ISEs.
· Leads negotiations, develops solutions, coordinates complex decision-making process, and overcomes objections to capture new business opportunities.
· Assists Business Development Managers and ISEs with marketing related events, seminars, mailings, and call campaigns to increase SAM awareness.
· Submits accurate and timely forecasts that are aligned with assigned sales quotas.
· Effectively communicates and presents the SAM and overall value proposition to all levels of an organization.
· Familiarity with selling Oracle, IBM, SAP or other publisher centric advisory solutions.
· Maintain a high-level of product and licensing knowledge across multiple manufacturers.
· Facilitates all communications, order processing, and reporting of customer transactions.
· Supports and trains internal employees on how to sell SAM.
