Since inception MerlinCorp Plc has focused on two key areas of recruitment, namely;
Mass Recruitment of IT Sales Staff and Reduction of attrition.
MerlinCorp Plc has been fortunate to have recruited and continue to recruit for many of the key resellers and distributors within the IT Channel, and therefore we believe we understand what is at the heart of a focused salesman.
Our approach adopts an indepth qualification of goals and direction of both candidate and client, this allows us to focus upon whether each party is headed for a common goal. In our belief, this is the major reason why attrition is so high amongst IT sales staff.
Possibly our best example included the recruitment of 100 new sales staff over a one year period. Numerous goals were set in parallel with the campaign, the most significant being the reduction of the 60% churn on the sales floor. MerlinCorp Plc completed the campaign within the allocated time and 6 months on, the attrition was down to 16%.
As the company has grown, we have also found many opportunities to place candidates at smaller resellers, this is the direct result of a mismatch of goals between intended client and intended candidate - 'One man's meat is another man's poison'.
Pricing
It is our belief that we need to remain flexible when it comes to pricing; this means that we are comfortable taking the risks and enjoying the fruits of reward. To reinforce this, whilst we do not think we know the answers to your recruitment, after all, if you're not a client, we don't know your business, we will unlike almost all other recruitment companies, charge on a success basis. This means we will charge a small fee for the placement, however we only get up to the traditional fees charged by agencies once the candidate starts hitting their GP targets.
