Job Brief
Our client are looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Manager to help expand their business in Australia and New Zealand. You will be a driven, dynamic and passionate individual with proven sales experience in the ITAM and SAM industry. With an entrepreneurial mind, you will be the front of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy. The goal is to drive sustainable growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships throughout Australia and New Zealand. You will also have a desire to develop into a leadership role and progress within the business.
Job Purpose
In a customer facing role the Business Development Manager will work, both internally and externally, in partnership with clients and partners; responsible for generating new sales opportunities for the company’s products and services. The role requires the ‘hands on’ ability, skills and experience to complete the major functions in a sales life cycle; from lead generation to closing large deals.
Focus on proactive growth and stable increased revenue generation.
Work closely with the Marketing Team to define the campaigns and messaging for lead generation.
Create a motivating and challenging team spirit with the onsite Consultancy team based on collaboration and achievement.
Seek out major clients and form working relationships with the premier buyers in the industry.
Manage the internal sales targets to achieve expected growth.
Identify new sales opportunities for their products and services.
Present new products and services and enhance existing relationships.
Work with technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs.
Cold call as appropriate to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
Ensure that data is accurately entered and managed within the CRM system
Have a thorough knowledge of the market, the solutions & services they can provide, and of their competitors. Research and build relationships with new clients.
Working towards & achieving targets whilst creating & closing new business opportunities.
Be well organised with the ability to work autonomously.
Maintains sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
Generation of own sales leads from personal activity.
