Description
My client are a Fortune 500-ranked global provider of hardware, software, cloud, and service solutions, providing clients the guidance and expertise needed to define, architect, implement and manage technology today while transforming for tomorrow. The Senior Consultant is responsible for providing consultancy support to clients, acting as a key resource for managed services across the software lifecycle to deliver a wide variety of licensing solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide technical implementation, configuration, and tool analysis services to clients for Software Asset Management (SAM), compliance and optimisation solutions.
• Adopt a proactive approach to engaging with local account teams to build an understanding of the client requirements and help drive the delivery of solutions.
• Analyse and process client data to perform licensing reconciliation services, data quality assessments, and review of licensing agreements and usage rights. • Utilise knowledge of sof tware licensing to support EMEA wide licensing desk, internal teammate queries and any client questions regarding licensing.
• Support internal Sales teammates to ensure the efficient delivery of License Consulting to clients.
• Acts as a technical pre-sales advisor to account managers and sales associates.

Essential:
Strong communication skills with the ability to interact ef fectively with teammates
IT and Licensing knowledge for at least one software publisher
High level of verbal and written English
Fully conversant with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, and Word) 
Proven experience in presenting results of analyses
Ability to interpret multiple data sets and summarise key points, highlighting methods used, expectations, issues, trends, observations, and recommendations
Ability to work with a variety of teammates and clients, including remote or virtually
Ability to execute proof of concepts and product demonstrations to internal and external stakeholders at a variety of levels
Experience of implementing the technical aspects of SAM tools 
Working knowledge of a SAM tool (Flexera, SNOW or Aspera)

Desireable:
Knowledge of licensing models for one or more software publishers 
Experience of IT tools (Microsoft SCCM, ServiceNow or SQL scripting)
A confident, outward-looking, proactive communicator
Experience of working within a statutory legal and/or regulatory framework
Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, results-oriented culture
Experience of working within a globally diverse environment, showing an understanding of and keen interest in equality, diversity, and inclusion 
Strong team player as well as a proactive individual contributor 
Ability to simplify and explain complex issues to a range of audiences
Creative thinker with the ability to troubleshoot issues quickly and effectively
Excellent time management skills and ability to work unsupervised, to tight deadlines
