The Licensing Consulting Services practice is an EMEA-wide technical advisory delivering Consultancy and Implementation services to high profile customers. The mandate of the practice is to advise clients on how to accelerate core business and optimise IT utilising License Consulting Services.
The Executive Consultant owns the delivery guidance of the defined License Consulting service. The Executive Consultant is accountable to meet defined service revenue and GP targets and deliver the expected client outcome and will be able to utilise resources & methodologies provided by central Services Organization.
Key responsibilities:
· As a core member of the License Consulting Practice drive the further evolution of the consulting practice and the build-out of our intellectual property
· Work on projects as a Lead Consultant taking responsibility for the delivery of complex engagements
· Build meaningful relationships with senior clients at C-Level (CEO, CFO, CIO)
· Introduce to Client multiple vendor and annuity optimisation Services
· Build strong relationships with the Local Account Sales Teams
· Be recognized as a thought leader in the License Consulting Service
· Mentor junior staff, contribute to the development of capabilities and hold training for junior team members
· Hold relevant vendor accreditation and project management certification
· Lead the development of differentiated intellectual property
· Takes on a leadership role in the build-out of the EMEA License Consulting practice
· Utilise generated qualified opportunities by the account teams but also act as a hunter to generate net new opportunities and engage with the client as a pre‐sales consultant to sell the offerings
Required skills and experience:
· Innovative IT solutions License Consulting and strong business acumen translating business requirements to IT strategies
· Executive Maturity: capable to lead CXO engagements
· Consulting Practise Expertise: Pre-Sales & Consulting Delivery; proven track record in driving profitability and customer satisfaction
· Strong background in consulting demonstrated through a significant number of years’ experience in a consulting environment gained with a leading system integrator or management consulting firm
· Communication Skills: Must be an excellent communicator - both written and oral. With good customer relationship management skills and ability to interface seamlessly with sales staff
· University degree in Computer Sciences, Engineering, Business Administration or a related field (Master Degree) with significant experience
· Fluency in written and spoken English + ideally another European language
· Very good working knowledge, around Microsoft and:
o SAM baseline process (Microsoft specific)
o Strong Licensing Knowledge (Microsoft specific)
o Managed Service Specific skills
o Optimisation Service Specific skills
o SAP, Oracle and IBM high-level knowledge
