My client are looking for a driven and analytical Senior Consultant or expert who thrives in a consultative environment. Our ideal candidate gets energy from maintaining relationships with clients and their vendors, and providing strategic advise on their IT asset and contract lifecycle (from vendor selection and onboarding to data governance and reporting for effective decision making). 

About:

My client guides organizations through the spectrum of complexities within IT asset (ITAM) and sourcing, procurement, vendor management (SPVM). They create clarity and transparency throughout the organizational ecosystem to establish the best decision-making position, to support and enhance daily business practices. 

Together with the team, you will work on:

• Become your clients’ trusted advisor throughout the IT vendor lifecycle, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, budgeting, and termination

• Maintaining the relationship between customers and key technology suppliers, spanning the entire IT category: Infrastructure/Networks, Systems Integration and services, projects, and software.

• Collect and analyze data regarding the client’s IT environment.

• Design & implement IT processes and services to increase efficiency and transparency.

• Ensure the overall quality of the partnership with suppliers, focusing on a positive, value-

  generating collaboration.

• Negotiate and draft contract change notes and other documentation with suppliers,

  partnering with stakeholders like procurement and legal.

• Lead formal RFP/RFI market engagements with procurement when applicable.

• Maintain oversight of budgets associated with vendors and collaborate with stakeholders for

  proper financial management.

• Represent a Vendor Management Office at key internal and external forums.

• Contribute to overall Vendor Management strategy and planning.

• Provide expert advice and guidance on sourcing strategy.

  Who are you:

• Experience working in Technology Vendor Management or Technology Procurement.

• Significant experience managing technology suppliers both locally in the Belgian market and

  internationally.

• Fluent in written and spoken English, with the ability to accurately draft and review complex

  documents in English.

• Naturally curious and critical mindset.

• Strong analytical/data skills.

• Experienced in managing complex budgets and commercial constructs.

• Expert negotiator and contract drafter/reviewer (in English).

• Experience in designing and implementing SPVM processes.

• Skilled in translating problems and challenges to CxO & top-level management.
