Location:UK home based with global travel
Job Function
To be responsible for all ITAM &technical strategy & implementation across the company for multiple customers of all sizes across multiple sectors.
To lead the research & documentation of the companies ITAM technical capability.
To demonstrate an excellent working knowledge of the importance of ITAM & Cyber Security & ITAM Governance and its impact on the broader enterprise.
To be able to identify & communicate commercial & business risk
To communicate at an executive level.
Provide support to junior team members to develop their skills.
To delegate to more junior members of the team as required and to provide support to others in the company.
Duties / Responsibilities:
To lead the delivery of ITAM tooling as part of the Managed Service for all customer accounts. Take responsibility for the successful delivery of all technical related activities, utilising resource from the wider skill-base as required.
To continually update your skillset by learning new technical capabilities and to educate others on cyber & ITAM technical capability.
To undertake individual consultancy assignments, analysing customer requirements, gathering and analysing data, recommending solutions and mitigating activities.
To identify opportunities within and outside of customer base and to co-ordinate meetings to discuss solutions.
Qualifications / Education Required:
5 GCSE passes including C or above in Maths and English or equivalent qualification
University degree or other equivalent qualification or experience.
Additional language skills an advantage.
Experience required:
10+ years' experience in a technical IT role.
5+ Years in an ITAM technical role and demonstrable experience of performing technical ITAM at a senior level.
Subject Matter Expertise across inventory tools and proven experience of acquiring new technical capability.
Demonstrable experience of success in multiple large scale enterprises.
Experience of supporting vendor audit activities.
A proven track record of successful client engagements within/for blue chip companies including engaging with senior management and directors.
Knowledge of Flexera operationally & administratively.
