- Role:Senior ITAM Governance Consultant
Remuneration:Competitive salary plus bonus & Share options
Location:UK home based with global travel
Job Function
To be responsible for delivery of ITAM Governance across the company for multiple customers of all sizes across multiple sectors.
To lead the research, re-engineering & documentation of ITAM business processes & policies.
To demonstrate an excellent working knowledge of ITAM and ITAM Governance its impact on the broader enterprise (eg Security, Cost Optimisation, IT Operations).
To be able to identify commercial & business risk
To communicate at an executive level. Provide support to junior team members to develop these skills.
To delegate to more junior members of the team as required and to provide support to others in the company.
Duties / Responsibilities:
To lead the delivery of ITAM Governance as part of the Managed Service for all customer accounts. Take responsibility for the successful delivery of all governance related activities, utilising resource from the wider skill-base as required.
Facilitation of workshops to audit current governance and build new governance.
To continually update your skillset by learning new ITAM capabilities and to educate others around architecture and complex licensing.
To undertake individual consultancy assignments, analysing customer requirements, gathering and analysing data, recommending solutions and mitigating activities.
To identify opportunities within and outside of customer base and to co-ordinate meetings to discuss solutions.
Qualifications / Education Required:
5 GCSE passes including C or above in Maths and English or equivalent qualification
University degree or other equivalent qualification or experience.
Additional language skills an advantage.
Experience required:
7+ years' experience in software license management and demonstrable experience of performing software license management at a senior level.
5+ Years in ITAM Governance and demonstrable experience of performing software license management at a senior level.
Subject Matter Expertise business process re-engineering.
Demonstrable experience of success in multiple large scale enterprises.
Experience of managing vendor audit activities.
A proven track record of managing client engagements within/for blue chip companies including engaging with senior management and directors.
Knowledge of Flexera operationally & administratively including:
Logic and advanced configuration of complex license models and purchasing programs.
